Business in Małopolska

A project implemented by the Małopolska Regional Development Agency and Małopolska Region.

The project is aimed at creating and maintaining the image of Małopolska as an attractive place for investors. The Project promotes the regional investment offer on foreign markets. 

For whom: the offer is orientated towards managers of foreign companies and institutions linked to the investment market.

Implementation period: June 2010 – March 2011.

Project results: owing to activities undertaken within the project, the regional investment offer is being promoted, and interest in Małopolska as an attractive place for foreign investments is growing.

As part of the Business in Małopolska project, we invite entrepreneurs interested in conducting business activity in the region.
Our offer:

  • Preparation of specialist reports regarding the regional economy;

  • Information regarding the regional investment offer;
  • Information regarding state aid for investors, investment zones, union funds and grants; 
  • Advisory services regarding recruitment, contacts with higher education institutes, legal and administrative procedures;

“Business in Małopolska. Investment in the Future”

We promote the Małopolska economy. A new project by the Małopolska Regional Development Agency, the Małopolska region and Kraków Technology Park  -  “Business in Małopolska. Investment in the Future” will begin in January 2011.
The project is aimed at increasing the popularity of the economic brand of Małopolska through promotion of the investment and export potential of the region.

For whom: the project is aimed at potential clients considering investments in Małopolska, mainly from the USA, India, China and Western Europe as well as recipients of the regional export offer.

Expected Results: maintaining the image of Małopolska as a modern region that is open for investments. Owing to the implementation of the promotional campaign and presentation of the regional offer at the most important economic conferences and fairs in the world, the number of foreign investments in Małopolska will increase. 
CeBiM’s comprehensive information policy will raise the quality of services for investors and exporters. 

Project activities:

  • Presentation of the investment offer during international fairs and conferences in the USA, India, China and Western Europe;
  • Organization of events promoting the investment and export potential of the region;
  • Updating the offer for investors and exporters.

Implementation term: 1st January 2011 – 31st December 2012

Invest in Małopolska

A project implemented between 2008 and 2010 by the Małopolska Regional Development Agency, the Małopolska Region and Kraków Technology Park as part of the Business in Małopolska initiative.

The Project was aimed at creating and maintaining an image of Małopolska that is attractive for investors and, furthermore, promoting the regional investment offer in foreign markets. 

The offer was orientated towards managers of foreign companies as well as persons and institutions linked to the investment market.

Implementation period:  September 2008 – October 2010.

Project results: thanks to various activities undertaken within the project, the regional investment offer was promoted and interest in Małopolska as an attractive place for foreign investments grew.

International promotion of the Małopolska Export Offer 

A project implemented between 2009 and 2010 by the Małopolska Regional Development Agency and Małopolska Region as part of the Business in Małopolska initiative. 

The aim of the Project was to create an internationally recognised economic brand for the region by means of promoting the Małopolska export offer and constructing a system of monitoring and support for export activities. 

The offer was intended for foreign enterprises interested in continuous cooperation with companies from Małopolska.

Project results: creating and enhancing the image of Małopolska as an important place on the national and global economic map. Contacts were established between exporters from Małpolska and foreign market contractors. A database of reliable business partners was created as well as a comprehensive system of investor services.
