The Power of Cities reports

Cities are changing dynamically. There is an increase in investors and jobs, and consequently also in offices. Indicators characterising the socio-economic situation of cities are not constant and that is why Knight Frank in cooperation with institutions responsible for cooperation with international investors in particular cities and the consulting company Michael Page periodically prepares reports which in a nutshell show key data on investment attractiveness of the largest Polish cities - Warsaw, Krakow, Lodz, Poznan, Silesia, Tricity, Wroclaw.

Topics of the publications

The publications contain the most important information related to the investment attractiveness of individual cities. In the reports you will find information about the current situation on the office market and trends on the labour market. This is material that can be used for preliminary analysis by companies considering expansion into new markets and thus taking into account various locations for conducting their business.

You will find issues such as:

  • city attractiveness (facts and figures, city investment rankings, quality of life)
  • office market (supply and demand, headline rents, main areas of concentration, trends in office markets)
  • labour market trends (results of the survey on dream jobs, trends in the SSC sector, salary spreads)

Investment attractiveness of Kraków

As the largest regional office market, Kraków is an attractive choice for investors and tenants. This is supported by a wide choice of office space in existing projects as well as investments under construction and the highest volume of lease transactions among the six largest regional cities. At the end of September 2022, Kraków's office stock amounted to more than 1.65 million m2, allowing it to remain in first place by market scale among regional cities in Poland. Kraków still has over 152,000 m2 of office space under construction, which will be systematically delivered in the coming years.
