SolarWinds opens its Research and Development office in Krakow

Expansion of strategic European R&D office creates new career opportunities for IT professionals and strengthens the company's global software development team and its position in the business world.

AUSTIN (Texas, USA) and KRAKOW (Poland) - 24 June 2015 - SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI), a leading supplier of functional and economical software for IT performance management, announced the official opening of its strategic European R&D office in Krakow. The new office joins the network of SolarWinds offices, including those in Brno (Czech Republic), Stockholm and Västerås (Sweden) and will play a key role in the global product strategy of SolarWinds. Krakow office will support the development of efficient and specially designed products, which aim to improve the work of IT specialists.

In 2008, SolarWinds opened its first European R&D office in Brno and it became the base of the largest software development team, consisting of more than 300 engineers. This year in Krakow, the company plans to build a team of 40 engineers, which will be gradually enlarged in subsequent years.

The opening ceremony of the Krakow office of SolarWinds was held on Tuesday, June 23.
