CH2M to create 800 new jobs in Poland as it announces the opening of its Global Production and Shared Service Centre in Krakow

KRAKOW, 8 October 2015 – CH2M, the employee-owned engineering and programme management company today (8 October 2015) announced it will be creating 800 new jobs through the opening of its new Global Production and Shared Service Centre in Krakow.

CH2M has been operating in Poland for nearly 20 years and currently employs over 300 people across its transportation, water and industrial & advanced technology business groups. Following sustained growth in recent years CH2M is currently working on some of Poland’s most iconic infrastructure projects including the expansion of Gdansk Deep Water Container Terminal, the Wroclaw flood defence programme and the upgrading of major national rail links across the country.


The new Production and Service Centre, to be based in Krakow, will be CH2M’s largest centre in the world and marks CH2M’s integrated approach to managing international engineering projects through work-sharing and the building of international teams to best serve our clients across the globe. 


The opening of this new facility will create 800 new jobs, growing the business to over 1100 employees in Krakow; making CH2M the largest engineering company in Poland and this part of Europe. The new jobs will be created across CH2M’s engineering divisions as well as providing accounting, finance, IT, HR and procurement support to its global operations.
